OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:
Radiation Sickness  Books is looking for:
Short Stories: 1,000 – 7,500 words.
Novelettes: 7,500 - 20,000 words
Novellas: 20,000 - 50,000 words
Novels: 50,000 words and up.

What kind of content are we looking for?
We are looking for extreme/confrontational/transgressive works of fiction.
Our editors do not shock easily.
We are looking for the kind of work that will shock, offend, unsettle and frighten.
Extreme gore, violent sexuality, torture, occult/cult themes, mental instability, misanthropy, etc.
If you have anything violent, vile, or reprehensible that you can't find a home for, let us know.
Shorts will be published in themed anthologies.
We will be publishing a themed anthology each month starting February 2014.
The themes of the anthologies TBD.
If it's not as vile and violent and depraved as American Psycho don't bother.
We're looking for some really transgressive stuff.
NO EROTICA! Go peddle your vampire/werewolf porn somewhere else.
People aren’t scared by vampires and werewolves anymore.
We want writing that will make our skin crawl off and try to launder itself.
We want writing that will make us want to bleach our brains and wipe our memory.

What do we offer?
Radiation Sickness Books offers to publish and promote your work.
We will handle the cost of editing, formatting, designing a cover, and publishing your work.
In exchange, we will retain exclusive rights to print the work for six months.
After that, we will retain the right to keep the Radiation Sickness edition available, but you may also do with it as you please.
Publish it, don't publish it, sell it to some other publisher.  Whatever.
Just as long as we continue to retain the rights to keep our edition available.
You will also be required to use a different cover for republishing purposes to avoid confusion between the two editions.
In exchange for these concessions, you will receive 50% of all sales p.o.d. and e-book.
Profit-sharing will be distributed at the end of each month.
This is the best deal I have heard of from any independent publisher.
Good luck finding a better deal that doesn't include an advance.
All submissions will be accepted only on condition of agreement to the preceding conditions.
